You can tell a lot about a PC build from the first thing your eyes land on. Sometimes it’s raw performance hardware, sometimes it’s cable work, sometimes it’s airflow planning, and sometimes it’s the overall aesthetic. Every builder notices something different first, even before checking specs.

When you see someone else’s setup or build, what’s the first thing you notice first?

• Cable management and cleanliness
• Cooling setup and airflow choices
• GPU/CPU hardware selection
• Desk aesthetic and lighting
• Overall practicality and usability

It’s funny, but I look for the thing I do the worst. Cable management and me just don’t get along very well. After that however, I look at the airflow through the case.

Look at this mess of wires inside my Game-A-Tron build. You don’t see them however, when the front of the case is closed. But still…
