Most gaming losses happen on-screen. But somtimes… they can happen in a menu.

Maybe you clicked the wrong button. Maybe a hard drive died. Maybe a sibling “helped.” Maybe you were cleaning up old saves and made a terrible mistake. Whatever happened, there’s a good chance every gamer has lost a save file that still hurts to think about years later.

I gotta go first on this one… this idea brought back some memories…

It was many moons ago… playing and incredible game on the Playstation.

I was somewhere between the ages 6-9 I believe.. My cousin had a save on LOTR that was DEEP into the end-game progression like im talking farrrrrr…

I wanted to play my own save file and start from the beginning and I accidentally saved over his progress and deleted everything… oh man.. with what I know today, that took the WIND out of his sails and he never played the game again..
