Merchant’s Stall
You are beckoned over by the same mysterious merchant who always seems to catch your eye. As you approach, his voice blankets your ears
“Ah, just the traveler I was hoping to see!”
He rummages through a wooden crate overflowing with relics before producing a carefully wrapped bundle.
“I picked this fragment up from a rather suspicious fellow on the eastern trade road. Claimed it came from a forgotten world where heroes carried wonders beyond imagination.”
He gently unwraps the polished fragment and studies it with a puzzled look.
“Remarkable craftsmanship… but I’ve no idea what it once was. Or who would’ve carried such a thing.”
A grin spreads beneath his hood.
“Go on then. Tell me what treasure I’ve stumbled across.”
