Tavern Riddle
The tavern is already alive when you arrive. Tankards clatter, dice tumble across tables, and somewhere near the hearth an argument has broken out over who technically killed the owlbear. As you make your way toward the bar, a hooded adventurer brings you over to a table and immediately produces a battered mug.
“Ah, perfect timing. Had a traveler come through last night who paid for his supper with a riddle instead of coin.”, He slides the mug across the counter. “Cheeky bugga. Been thinking about the answer ever since.”, He leans closer. “See if you fare any better.”

🍺 Tavern Riddle
I am welcomed when you’re lost,
feared when you’re being chased.
I can hide treasure, danger, or nothing at all.
Adventurers search every one of me—
even when they know they probably shouldn’t.
