Snapshot Adventure: The Flooded Archive
Deep beneath a ruined desert temple, hidden below centuries of collapsed stone, you discover a sealed archive carved into the foundations of an ancient civilization.
Towering shelves of stone tablets line the walls. Faded murals cover enormous pillars. Narrow channels cut into the floor disappear into darkness, and somewhere beyond the chamber you can hear the distant echoes of what sounds like drip.. drip.. drip..
You step on the wrong tile. The entrance seals behind you. Ancient pipes hidden inside the walls crack open, and freezing water begins pouring into the chamber. Within moments it is ankle-deep and rising fast.
Across the archive, resting on a pedestal above the flood, is the ancient tome you came here to recover. The mechanism controlling the exit appears to be somewhere beneath the rapidly deepening water.
You empty your pack onto the nearest dry ledge.
