Tavern Riddles!
The hooded stranger occupies his usual corner of the tavern, quietly watching adventurers come and go. As you pass his table, he rolls a single gold coin across his knuckles and catches it beneath his palm.
“A small wager, traveler. Name the thing I describe, and the coin is yours.” A crooked smile appears beneath his cowl. “Fail, and you’re buying the next round!”

LE RIDDLE
I wait where your journey once began,
Yet follow no adventurer across the land.
Fall to a beast, a blade, or flame,
And I may send you back agane.
Ignore me too long and you may regret
How much of your journey you chose to forget.
