(09.25.26) DAILY POLL: Fan Fav Fridays!

Best Seat in Gaming

There are a handful of varying camera perspectives in todays gaming age. First-person puts you directly behind the eyes, third-person lets you actually admire the character you spent 45 minutes customizing, and other perspectives can completely change how a game feels.

Which camera perspective do you generally prefer?

–

  • :eyes: First-person
  • :person_standing: Third-person, over-the-shoulder
  • :telescope: Third-person, pulled farther back
  • :eagle: Top-down / isometric
  • :video_game: No preference, whatever fits the game best

What’s a game that absolutely nailed its perspective or camera system? Also, what is your favorite/least fav camera perspective? Any horror stories?

I chose “No preference” but what I really want is for devs to implement an in-game FOV option to adjust how zoomed-in / zoomed-out the camera is.

More control over perspectives would be nice.
