I built this computer out of old plant rack parts, cutting the aluminum pipes down and having shelves cut for me at a local Home Depot. I call it โGreen with Envyโ, since itโs a smaller plant rack thatโs designed to grow orchids (my wifeโs passion and my ticket to get this into our music room). Oh, I used an open-frame computer case to hold some tasty AMD components on the bottom shelf - Ryzen 7 7800X3D and an RX 7900 XTX; plus, I have a 34" gaming monitor too. This is my best gaming machine right now.
One fun fact: I discovered the Frostpunk 2 wallpaper, with itโs changing colors, when I built this rig.
I call all my computers BioHazard. This is a major upgrade from my old Asus ROG G20 with a I7-6700 and a PNY 1650. Now I can play in 4K.

Parts here are gathered over the past several years from different sources and itโs all I have. I am honestly very happy with it. Itโs gotten me this far and pray for it to continue to do so! Grogu gives it the force to stay strong and the Vault Dweller is always looking for spare parts but never gives up!

This is my rig, with carefully selected parts:
Case: Fractal Design Pop Air - I picked it because I wanted a 5.25" ODD bay :). Still have many physical media - games and films. I ordered a solid case, but then decided to go for glass and sent the solid without unpacking. Mesh front was an obvious choice as I wanted a silent system.
Fans: long time die hard Noctua fan, I ended up with and all-Arctic system :). I started with P14s in the front, because I wanted RGB, then picked P12 Max for the exhaust, since I wanted something strong (always had a heat buildup in that area of the case). And I ended up with an AIO, obviously an Arctic Freezer III :).
Mobo & GPU: always been a fan of TUF GAMING mobos - they have a good VRM section, decent equipment, nice design, full ATX ones always a better than ALC897 codec. And theyโre reasonably priced. But ASUS GPUs are way too expensive. I was looking for a 7900 GRE, since I found them a bit unusual cards and came across this lovely one used that fit my budget, so pulled a trigger. Now I have TUF GAMING B650 + 7900 GRE
CPU is 7800X3D, the obvious choice. Managed to build everything in the beginning of September, feeling like a king now :D.
My newest setup right now. That being said I have a total of 4 PCโs set up in my basement. One for me, my spouse, and 2 for guests. We have PCโs of all makes and sizes, but this one is my current one.
I use this typically for both work and gaming. Pretty much anything coop is my go to.
