Yeah, I’d love to check it out and make use of it but yet again it’s allegedly not compatible with RDNA 3. There’s a lot of ill-feeling building among owners of RDNA3 and older over the feature locking of FSR4 let alone redstone.

I know officially you cannot disclose any information on future feature rollouts but can you at least feed back that RDNA3 is 100% capable of running FSR4 just fine on the INT8 code that mistakenly got pushed to github and request that they make it official as a FSR4/Redstone backport?

Us end users would quite willingly trade a few percent of FPS for clarity of visuals over FSR3, which is why we are using the unofficial release of the DLL in the first place.

If NVIDIA can release certain technologies across all their RTX GPU from the DLSS feature set AMD really need to follow their lead on this one.

Yeah honestly it’s a weird spot because I think 7000 series was the newest tech for amd gpus but then it also got left behind in any new features that dropped when amd pulled out of the high-end game. So people like me, a 7900xtx owner, feel kind of left behind unfortunately.

Indeed, I got my 7900 XTX for free so am not quite as cut up about this as some but it still grates a little. I’m hoping there’s development soon with opensourcing FSR entirely so the community can then legitimately maintain an INT8 version and keep it up to date if AMD themselves won’t.
