Me had the first contact end of 2018. AM4 Board with the Ryzen 1700X. Get a second build in 2020, equipped with the Ryzen 2700X. And a third one. 
Again with the Ryzen 2700X.. Wanted to create a comparison trio. First had the Radeon Vega 64. Second the GeForce RTX 2080 and last one the Radeon Vii.
Currently I have upgraded 2 systems. One full new built, including a new 31" IPS UWQHD Monitor, wut 165 Hertz. Only left the same RAM modules. That one with less upgraded received a new PSU. From Cooler Master. The MWE 1050W V2 Gold ATX 3.1 To fire up the 9070 XT from SAPPHIREs Nitro Edition. I call them Battle Stations. Main ones is the 90% upgraded. Who had become a Montech King 
95 Pro case.

It’s wild thinking that the AM4 series launched 10 years go. I was in need of an upgrade at the time and ended getting the Ryzen 7 1700X. Hardware was limited and I had to wait on my motherboard before building my PC. I ended up waiting a few months, poking at my parts with a stick to make quench my urge for gaming.
AM4 since 2017, AMD for YEARS before that, and still continuing with them in the future.

I know it’s been a while but I didn’t realize we had forums again. Anyhow just wanted to thank AMD for just more than the 10 years of AM4, specially since I have been Building PC’s since 1998, all of them with AMD Cpu’s, sadly I cannot say they all have had AMD Gpu’s… I would have to dig through alot of receipts to figure out how many total but it surely has been more than a few. And I should also thank AMD Santa for my first AM4 pc, truly thank you again.

The only AM4 system I have ever had is a laptop with a 58000H, so no upgrading for me. Still, it holds up well. It is nothing like my current AM5 9900X, but it is a solid CPU.
If I built a PC today it would be an AM4 build, however. The value in the re-released 5800X3D and DDR4 RAM would seal the deal for me. When I went to build a desktop, my DDR5 32GB 6000 CAS30 kit was only $93.50, so no AM4 need apply at the time. Now, it’s a different story.
Thanks to AMD for keeping real value alive.

My first Ryzen build was with a 5800x3d, (on an Asus Crosshair MB) but I had to replace it with a 5700X3d because It got fried (
I have gifted it to my younger brother and his family and I am currently on a Ryzen 9850 X3d and a MSI Tomahawk MB.

Ok the full evolution; I worked in entertainment theatrical lighting and sound and mobile dj in the late 90s, I walked in one day and my boss was trying something new and was showing me this “Red” dj software on a new pc, and says I had one made for you too and pointed at a pc on a table, Amd Barton 2800 on a Biostar m7vig400 with a Radeon 9200 card and so it began, we opened a pc store and was off and running. My next was an Athlon dual core, next was the 9850 black I pre ordered on a Biostar TA790GX-128m, next was a Bulldozer 9370 on a Crosshair 5, next was a 1700x on a Prime x470, and now the 3900x on a Prime x570 with a 3070. I do some gaming but when your doing live video dj and keyboard/midi performances in nightclubs and bars there are no second chances. AMD has never let me down or failed to deliver. My sight is deadlocked on my next PCIE 5 build as prices allow. Id love to try the 5800 anniversary edition but just don’t have the budget right now but AM4 has been good to me and I have hundreds I have built for customers in the wild still running strong.
