As an RDNA 4 user i am wondering when we will get another game that has Ray Regeneration? Lack of support in RE Requiem and Pragmata sucks and limits RDNA 4 users from using path tracing. I was wondering if we will get new game by the end of this year or is this it?
I’m also excited to see what new games support Ray Regneration!
Unfortunately I can’t give any updates on this as it is up to the developers of games to implement it and update any games to be able to support it. AMD can’t enable it through drivers or anything on our side, so if there are games you want to see with the feature, you will need to request it from them directly either through their social accounts or community forums!
Well, the issue is that AMD hasn’t the same resources, as NVIDIA does. I built up two battle stations. One is fully powered by AMD. The another with one GeForce RTX 4080 S. I have experienced, that the green team published around all two weeks, new drivers.
With many new games added, But the red team, all 4-6 weeks only. Since this year, the only great thing they made, was adapting the new FSR 4.1. New Games Support and some bugs fixed. But these were only very little.
They should urgently acquire more programmers, for their driver support. We can’t compare NGREEDIA to AMD. Over the last two decades, they gained almost the complete Marketshare. Jensen Huang’s Company, has ( I can only guessing) 10-30 times or even up to 50 times more personal working on their Drivers.
I can’t play Cronos The New Dawn, Without crashes, on the Radeon card. But it runs flawlessly on the RTX card.
If AMD does not start pushing Ray Regeneration users will be locked out of option to use path tracing like RE Requiem and Pragmata.
