I had an incident where my Windows was acting up after logging in. One problem was also having Windows settings not showing up. Solution was run in safe mode, remove GPU drivers and Adrenaline suite, install new/latest drivers. Hope you got it sorted out.

I did get it sorted out yesterday (29 June 2026). I ended up restoring to the only restore point in Windows. That turned out to be the install after Windows was copied to the SSD! So I went through all the Windows updates and things of this nature. Eventually I learned that it was the Logitech GHub (or something like that) software that had a corrupt install. The new install of that software first removed the old install and then it worked fine. I’m also running the latest Adrenalin 26.6.4 software on the RX 9070 XT GPU and it seems fine.
I received my second stick of 16 GB DDR5 RAM yesterday, along with a pack of ARGB fans from Amazon. Now I have 32 GB of RAM paired to this CPU and even better cooling, using three fans in front, one if the rear and two with the Lian Li AIO cooler.
I’ve updated my Big Al Computers website with the new build pictures; I build my computers on a work bench that my father built back in the early 1970’s. It’s very strong and has a built-in vice.
We have the same motherboard. I found it a good value, and it has a frequently updated BIOS from Gigabyte which I like.
FYI, my motherboard ARGB controller died after a utility company power failure while my PC was turned off and on a surge protector. I bought the motherboard in October of '24, so it is still under warranty, but not sure if I am up for tearing down my PC and shipping the motherboard back to Gigabyte just to get the fancy lighting back.

I wouldn’t bother with all that hassle. Instead, I would purchase another ARGB controller and use it instead.
My last upgrade was this Dell G2724D 1440P monitor I got in summer 2024, my previous one was an AOC 24G2U sitting left to it.

Some people don’t realize how important a nice gaming monitor is until they actually get one. I really like the 32" or 34" 120 Hz + 1440p monitors that you can find for $250 - $350 from places like Amazon or Micro Center.
