We Want Your Feedback on the Carbice Ice Pad!

For those of you who have had a chance to use a Carbice Ice Pad, what was your experience?

  • Noticeably improved cooling compared to my older setup
  • Worked well, but I didn’t notice a major difference
  • Worked about the same as my usual thermal solution
  • Didn’t perform as well as I expected
  • I’m sticking with traditional CPU thermal paste for now
  • I have it, but haven’t installed or tested it yet

I haven’t had a chance to try the Ice Pad myself yet, but I find the whole idea really interesting. I’ve always been a traditional paste guy and the whole reseating anxiety is real, so a reusable pad that you just drop in sounds like it takes a lot of the stress out of a build.

If I ever end up rebuilding my rig I’d definitely give it a shot just out of curiosity. It’s the kind of small thing that could make maintenance a lot less of a chore.
