Why is this game still installed?
Let me introduce to an MMO dating back to the mid 90’s called Tibia! I have been playing this game for roughly 30 years now, and i will quite for years at a time but every so often i go back and get sucked in for a month or 3. I will typically always keep this one installed.
The oldest game I have installed on my computer is Unreal Tournament 99. It goes with me on every system that I use. Even my raspberry pi 4.
Master of Orion, I mean the original from 1995, not the remake. And of course I also have Master of Orion 2 installed.
I still play them on occasion. I still have backed up copies of the game with decades old saves that I can load when I feel like it but I also have the GoG versions to just quickly spin the games up when I feel like it.
These games are still fun to play, relaxing and enjoyable.
The oldest game installed on my PC by release date is Command & Conquer: Generals
I still play LAN at home. Technically I also have C&C Remastered installed, but it is new. I deleted Tiberium Sun and Red Alert 2 the other day. Then it would be Star Wars: Empire at War and SUPCOM.
Yes, I like my RTS games. There are many more installed, some are modded.
