(03.24.25) AMD DAILY MISSION: Keybind Check

Keybinds Checkpoint

Custom keybinds are personal, chaotic, but also revealing! It is fascinating to see the variation in ways people play games. And I am talking things like shifting WASD to SZXC or ESDF! Yup. You read that right.

Today, we are celebrating that unique individuality for the common love we all share: GAMING!

To Complete the Mission:
:camera_with_flash: Screenshot or simply explain your keybind layout on your favorite game!
:speech_balloon: Has it changed the way you have played games in general? Let’s talk about it!

IF you don’t know.. you should know that I play World of Warcraft as my main game. Love it. Have played since Vanilla when I was 7 and my Uncle showed me his Druid and I was sold instantly.

Fast forward to about 5 or 6 years ago.. I FINALLY got my first MMO mouse with the 12-button plate on the side. WOW what a game changer. I was already binding my keys in such a way that was fruitful for the MMO mouse so it actually worked out quite well..

Long story short, in WoW my keybinds are normal. WASD for movement and the full 1 through = keys with Shift and CTRL modifiers.

EZ 36 keybinds at my finger tips!

Over the years I’ve gained the muscle memory for it all and have started placing the same “school of abilities” in the same spots.. for example my kick/interrupts are CTRL+1 my defensives are on the same line but typicall CTRL+3 and 4. Etc.. I’ve started to fine tune that layout over the years so that jumping between classes is EZ PZ!!
