Beyond the Gameplay

:video_game: Sometimes the things that stick with you most have nothing to do with combat, mechanics, or winning. It’s the music sitting on the menu screen. The atmosphere of a hub area. The loading screen art. The voice acting. The feeling of just existing in the world for a while.

What’s the non-gameplay part of games you end up loving the most?

  • Soundtracks and ambient music
  • World atmosphere and environmental design
  • Character dialogue and voice acting
  • Menus, UI, and overall presentation style
  • Lore, worldbuilding, and hidden details
