Favorite Gaming Dragon
Gaming has given us every kind of dragon imaginable: ancient world-ending monsters, wise companions, terrifying raid bosses, and giant flying problems that absolutely should’ve stayed asleep.
Some became favorites because of their design, others because of a fight, a story moment, or just how unbelievably cool they looked the first time you saw them. Today’s mission is simple: bring your favorite dragon into the spotlight.

I do love a good dragon! And yes they were real, don’t @ me.
But when it comes to gaming dragons.. dang it’s hard to choose there are so many good ones so I have to give you my top 3!

ONYXIA
The queen of deception.. one of the crown jewels of Classic WoW raiding. She just brings, for me, a ton of nostalgia and glory to my favorite game of all time. TBH there are some other amazing dragons in WoW but Onyxia is that true classic WoW punch imo, arguably above Nefarian.
SPYRO
Absolute banger from my childhood. I have fond memories of overheating the PS1 playing Spyro for HOURS. Getting to that one ice level that has a hidden hockey rink in the back. My brother and I were stoked when we found that lol.
DRAGONLORD PLACIDUSAX
Of course.. I have to include the Dragonlord himself from the 2nd best game ever created in mankind. If you know you know.. insane arena.. insane boss fight.. you felt like a god afterwards. The Dragon lore in ER goes DEEP. Also shoutout Bayle from the DLC.
I would pet all of these dragons and make them my friends

This one would be tough, for me. I don’t technically have a favorite dragon in/out of gaming, but ones that have echoed for me are (also, no particular order):
Shenron

Blue-Eyes White Dragon
One of the first major dragons for me. Yu-Gi-Oh! just came out with the show and the cards. The show brought hype to the blue-eyes white dragon.
Charizard
Another childhood classic for me and similar story to the Blue-Eyes White Dragon.
