Weekly Mission: Achievement Unlocked
We all have achievements sitting in our libraries that we’ve never bothered to chase… WE’RE CHANGING THAT THIS WEEK, GAMERS!
Your mission is to pick a game you’re already playing, open up its achievement list, and choose one achievement you haven’t earned yet. Then you go. Get it.
Easy achievement? Weird achievement? Brutal achievement with a 2% completion rate? That’s entirely up to you. You could make it fun and close your eyes and pick randomly, put the list in a spinner wheel, you choose your fate!
How to Participate
1. Pick Your Target
Open the achievement list for any game you own and choose one locked achievement.
Before you start, post:
The game- The achievement you’re attempting
Its completion percentage, if available
Then your hunt begins.
2. Unlock It
You’ve got the entire week to get that achievement.
Whatever it requires: exploration, combat, collecting, completing a challenge, finding something hidden, go make it happen!!
3. Bring Back the Proof
Once that notification finally pops, return to the thread with a screenshot showing your newly unlocked achievement.
And if you tried all week and didn’t get it? That’s alright, we learn from failure. Come back and tell us how close you got. Failed hunts are part of the mission too.
Cheer On the Hunters
See someone chasing an achievement you’ve already earned? Maybe give them a spoiler-free tip.
See someone attempting something absolutely miserable? Lets support our fellow community members, they’re going to need it.
And if someone finally unlocks the achievement they’ve been chasing all week, give them the victory lap they deserve!
Ground Rules
- The achievement must be locked when you choose it
- Any game or platform with achievements/trophies is welcome
- Keep tips spoiler-free unless someone asks for help
- Achievement guides are fair game
- Choose something you can realistically attempt this week
