Your village sits at the very edge of the Elderwood, where enormous trees grow so tightly together that even daylight struggles to reach the forest floor. On most nights, the woods are very peaceful…
Just after midnight, the village watch rings the alarm. Hundreds of tiny mushroom folk are marching out of the trees beneath colorful caps, carrying twig spears, acorn shields, and banners made from leaves. At their front rides a particularly furious mushroom commander atop a very confused-looking squirrel.
Nobody knows what they want. Unfortunately, they appear to have brought a very tiny battering ram. As leader of the village, everyone turns to you.
