Peripheral Graveyard

Tech has a funny way of accumulating. An old mouse gets replaced but still works, so it goes in a drawer. Then a keyboard joins it. A headset. Three mystery USB cables. Eventually you’ve accidentally established a retirement community for perfectly functional electronics.

How much old PC gear are you currently holding onto?

  • :file_cabinet: The drawer has become a habitat

Old tech has an incredible ability to become “might need this someday.” What’s the oldest piece of PC gear you still keep around or actually use? :desktop_computer:

I’ve been doing this PC thing for a while, so I still have tracked ball mice, and a bunch of other stuff which still works, but it’s only compatible with old PCs, which still work as well. All stored away awaiting for the apocalypse, so I can have a LAN party in the bunker and play HOMM 3 :smiley: or Red Alert or Warcraft 3.
