Snapshot Adventure: The Wyvern’s Nest
The mountain pass has been the village’s safest trade route for generations. This morning, a merchant caravan came racing back down the trail with considerably fewer wagons than it started with.
A wyvern has built its nest directly above the narrowest part of the pass.
Worse, the beast has been collecting anything shiny from passing travelers. Among the pile surrounding its nest is a silver lockbox containing the village’s payment for an incoming shipment of winter grain.
The wyvern is currently asleep. The lockbox is thirty feet away from it. And three enormous eggs are nestled between you and the treasure. You need that lockbox back without turning yourself, the eggs, or the mountain pass into lunch.
