WEEKLY MISSION: Second Wind Gamers!
We’ve all done it.. I’ve done it multiple times.. You start a game. You’re having a great time. You put anywhere between 5-50 hours into it..
Then another game comes along. Suddenly it’s six months later and your heroic adventure has been sitting on a save file somewhere wondering if you’re ever coming back.
This week, you are.
Your mission is to dig up a game you once started but never finished and make some real progress toward finally seeing those credits roll.
How to Participate
1. Find Your Abandoned Adventure
Look through your library and find a game you’ve already put some real time into but never completed.
Maybe you:
Stopped halfway through the story
Got distracted by another game
Hit a difficult section and never returned
Took a “short break” that became three years
Honestly don’t even remember why you stopped
Whatever happened, load that save back up.
2. Pick Up Where You Left Off
Spend some time with it this week and see how much progress you can make.
The ultimate goal is to finish the game, but don’t let a 70-hour RPG stop you from participating. If you’re nowhere near the ending, just make a meaningful push forward.
You have all week. See where you can get.
3. Report Back
Come back and tell us how the reunion went:
Game: What did you return to?
The Gap: How long had it been?
Starting Point: Where did you leave off?
Progress: How far did you make it this week?
Verdict: Are you sticking around until the credits?
And if you actually manage to finish it?
Roll those credits and take your victory lap.
