Your gear says a lot about you, especially when it’s not what everyone else is using. Vertical mice, trackballs, claw grips, split keyboards, foot pedals, left-handed layouts, we want to see your peripherals that make your setup yours.
To complete the mission: Post a photo of your unique or nonstandard peripheral (or the one you wish you had). Tell us what it is and why you use it. Explain what advantage (or chaos) it brings to your gaming or workflow!
I’m getting excited about the Lian Li Universal Screen. I bought one in early December 2025 for my ‘Green with Envy’ computer and it’s so cool that I just got one for my main computer that I call ‘Wine-Time’. I need to try building a custom screen display, but the included screen displays are great. This device connects via USB, so no video card interface issues either. It’s about $90 USD on Amazon.
As for it’s usage, it does display system information, including CPU and GPU loads and temperatures. Also, RAM usage is there too.
Not sure if this counts as a peripheral or not, but this brings so much chaos to my life. I always thought liquid cooling was cool, but i never understood how much maintenance it required. Every 6 months the coolant needs to be replaced otherwise it can slowly leech metals from your PC and slowly grow things like mold. Changing this thing out requires about 4-6 hours of constant effort for me because it is a multi step process. I need to drain ~40% of the liquid, wash with distilled water, repeat 3-4 times, then do a complete drain
of 80%-90% and backfill with the new coolant. Each time i drain it i need to rotate the PC in so many different ways to guide the liquid through. I DREAD every time it needs to change out. Also, the first time i filled it i used a pigmented coolant… NEVER doing that again. Cleaning that out took an entire 10 hour days worth of work. That being said, the PC itself is awesome and I am glad to have it.
