I’m having the issue with my Adrenaline Software with my RX 6900 XT card.
In my case the issue is that when I run some games, it’s gonna freeze it until the game crashes. In some cases it lasts too long that I have to force reboot via restart button because my PC becomes unresponsive.
In my games list there are CS:GO 2 (which is easy task for this card), and also Flight Simulator 2024 that I run in 2K with High details (demanding).
The error that I get when it crashes is:
For my setup, I always use Performance > Tuning and I set Max Frequency to 1825 (base clock), and I never go beyond that. It works fine, my GPU is not heating much, fans are pretty ok, I’m happy.
However, the issue is that for some reasons, Adrenaline can’t keep this setting active. Almost everytime when I restart PC, or randomly, it will switch back to “Default” profile. It’s very frustrating when I start the game, and if I forget to check active profile, it freezes. After restart, and setting proper frequency, it just works fine, and it’s all about active settings.
Also, I have tried with creating Game profiles for the games, but doesn’t help. Profiles are there but not activated automatically.
