Our Baldur’s Gate 3 Twitch Adventure Log
Picture it.
You are in the middle of a fight with your party. Someone is on fire. Someone else is falling down the stairs. A ghost may or may not be controlling your cleric like a malfunctioning puppet. Somehow this is still going better than last week.
Welcome to our Baldur’s Gate 3 stream.
Hi everyone,
As you may know, we AMDers have been streaming on the AMD Twitch channel for the past few weeks, and with the many encounters we thought it was time to start an ongoing chronicle of our Baldur’s Gate 3 playthrough. Think of it as a travel diary if the travelers were constantly glitching, exploding, panicking, and occasionally throwing bodies into a chasm for public safety reasons.
Every session gives us new disasters.
Every disaster becomes a comic.
Every comic becomes one more chapter in this saga of teamwork, improvisation, and accidental heroism.
If you enjoy unpredictable party energy and the kind of decision making that makes NPCs question their life choices, you are in the right place.
Let us begin with the very first disaster that set the tone for everything that followed.
Act 1: The Non Lethal Incident
Things started peacefully in the Emerald Grove. We had just finished dealing with some goblins and were doing some light trading. As usual, Wally, also known as Wax_AMD, handled negotiations since he has the most charisma and the strongest belief that he can talk his way through anything.
While exploring, we found a lone goblin locked in a cage and a tiefling guard watching over it. TheyShallRule stepped up to lockpick the cage. The instant she touched the lock, the game dropped us into tactical mode. Suddenly we were fighting the guard.
To avoid turning the entire grove hostile, we agreed to switch to non lethal attacks. Responsible. Reasonable. A perfect plan that lasted exactly one bowshot.
We discovered something important. Arrows cannot be non lethal.
TheyShallRule loosed a shot and the tiefling immediately collapsed. Wax_AMD praised the action. RockIce froze in disbelief. TheyShallRule pretended to be surprised.
ThatOldPanda took charge of the cleanup. He lifted the body with the confidence of someone tidying up after a potluck, placed the guard gently into his backpack, walked to the edge of the chasm, and handled the situation.
A smooth operation from start to finish.
