This discussion is about a gaming-related timeout issue I'm having with my AMD processor and looking for help to resolve it.

Hi, I’m experiencing a timeout issue with my AMD processor while gaming. My processor is a Ryzen 7 8700G, my motherboard is an MSI B650 Gaming Plus WiFi, my RAM is G.Skill Ripjaws S5 16GB DDR5 at 5200 MT/s, and my power supply is a Gigabyte B650M. Could anyone help me figure out how to resolve this?

Short checklist you can try (most Ryzen 8000G timeout issues are stability-related):

Update BIOS to the latest version (very important for Ryzen 8700G + B650).
Update AMD chipset & Adrenalin drivers (clean install if possible).
Disable EXPO/XMP → test RAM at default speed (5200 MT/s can cause iGPU timeouts).
Increase iGPU UMA Frame Buffer in BIOS (set to 4–8 GB).
Check PSU quality & connections (make sure it’s a Gigabyte PSU, not motherboard model).
Monitor temps — keep CPU under ~85 °C while gaming.

If the issue stops after disabling EXPO, your RAM tuning is the cause.

Thanks for sharing the solution. It help me a lot.
