What’s Something Cool You’ve Been Into Lately?

This one’s for everything not about PCs. Movies, fitness, collectibles, food, travel, music, you name it…

I’ve been watching shows on AppleTV, specifically Pluribus, and Ted Lasso! Awesome shows!

Another new hobby is cooking! I sincerely enjoy it and look forward to cooking for the fam every night.

What about you? Share something fun, weird, inspiring, or new you’ve been into lately.

I love to cook and bake, I like to experiment with new recipes especially since costs for food are so high these days, if you can make something on a budget that lasts, it’s even better. Also really been getting into the show, It: Welcome to Derry, Boulet Brothers Dragula Titans Season 2(grand finale last night) Just started REwatching The Magicians, Warehouse 13, Eureeka again ( I love old SYFY shows) I watch a lot, (I have a plex) Also picked up a kit for leather stamping tho im out of the fake leather, During the summer me and my wife try to find new nature trails around our area for walking(I am limited on how long because of my back) other than that I am sitting here at my pc gaming on and off, (i have to stand then sit back pain) but yeah.

“Model Kit”? Tell me all about it please? I’m into building 1/24 scale cars (Tamiya, Fujimi, etc.).

Nice! The last model kit I build is by Pocher, check it out:

HK118M Porsche 917K – Gulf Edition

It took me about a month to build it.

I’ve been thinking about this or the Lotus 72 kit, how did it go together?

The last Pocher kit I built was the Testarossa Coupe way back in 1991, it wasn’t the best.

Nice, it looks awsome

I’m getting old and my new hobby is trying to learn more about investing. All the craziness in the PC space has really had me in a funk for quite a while now. I just can’t get back into the groove of being a PC enthusiast. Most of the guys have picked up other hobbies like tabletop games (Warhammer 40K, Magic, etc). It’s just too expensive of a hobby for younger folks to keep up. I haven’t had any LAN parties for quite a while now :frowning:
I was in the basement tonight tinkering with some things hoping the spark would be there. I’d like to start building version 3.0 of my gaming setup, but dang everything is so expensive.

Growing the Family, so I had a forced time off from all the internet forums.

Last time I posted something it was on the old community forums… but its nice to be back.

Been reading this nice big book too and playing some ATARI games.

Hey — completely relatable. As a fellow gamer and home cook, I know how back pain and tight budgets can shape your hobbies. Finding gear that supports comfort and value makes all the difference.

For a more immersive and posture-friendly gaming experience, a gaming projector can reduce screen strain and let you play from a relaxed position. If you’re looking for reliable and affordable options — from kitchen appliances to gaming setups — I’d recommend browsing curated collection on Big Electronic Store

We focus on products that solve real-life problems like comfort, durability, and budget — something I wish I’d had sooner during my own long gaming sessions and cooking experiments.
